Hi, my name is Joëll. I am an aspiring video game designer living in the Netherlands, currently studying Creative Media and Game Technologies at Saxion University of Applied Sciences. Video games are a fascinating medium, both as a technology and as an art form, and I'd like to explore what that medium is capable of.

I'm a 'bit of everything' designer. My primary interests lie in storytelling, concepting and level design, but I also really enjoy solving puzzles, and programming scratches that same itch. I'm also visually inclined and tend to make sketches and designs for most of my ideas and characters, and have played several instruments and dabbled in composing music.

In my free time, I explore new worlds through stories and art. I have several creative writing projects in various sci-fi and fantasy settings, and have been running self-written D&D campaigns since 2015.
