No Kill Like Overkill

2023

A VR action game that utilizes the headset as a controller, where you must move your entire body to dodge series of ridiculously deadly traps like those you might see in campy spy movies. This game was built for the fifth CMGT project with a team of seven, where we had to pitch a game and build a vertical slice for it.

My primary task was designing and testing the various level layouts seen in the game, as well as doing research for and writing the pitch itself.

Newton Spinning

2022

A physics-based puzzle game centered around changing the direction of gravity to manipulate the location of yourself and various other movable objects. This game was made for the fourth CMGT project with a team of seven.

During this project, I was responsible for planning and project organisation, ideation, level design and early prototyping and testing, together with the other designer on the team.

Bar-a-Bam

2022

A rhythm game where you play drums to summon lightning and fend off a horde of demons that's gone out of control. This game was made for the third CMGT project with a team of six, where we had to build an arcade game with a custom controller. Our controller prototype was a set of four 'drums' that you could actually hit with drumsticks to play the game.
